Tall house plants that like shade,ideas please!?

 I want a few plants, which are quite large, perhaps 3 feet high, at most, and not plants substantial.House too.
Must enjoy the shade, and should be head to toe Hardy.

 Looking for budget-priced, easy to care for, 8-12" tall house plants, indoors north window in midwest. 7" or smaller pot sizes.

 I would try some succulents. They can be very singular and some of them stay small for a yearn time. I had several pots of sedum growing in a north fa window and they bloomed each year. Lovely.
Just don't put them fa in the midwest as the frost may put an end to them.

The purplish-brown "cap" that many people call the bud, is the fleshy spathe that surrounds it.

Arrow arum is in our lush freshwater marshes. The leaf is shaped like an arrowhead. Its flowers do not look like much, a thin, green, spathe has completely hides the pin flower inside.
