BRADENTON -- Tropiflora is having its 13th annual Unexpectedly pay for Festival Open House and Sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 3530 Tallevast Course.

Acres of greenhouses will be packed with exotic plants for sale including orchids, bromeliads, succulents, carnivorous and aquatic plants, fruit trees. There also will be artwork and earthenware.

Admission and parking are free. There will be live entertainment, refreshments. Lunch is offered at the Oaks Barbecue Restaurant. There will be hourly door choice drawings and raffles.

The event will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
