Hollywood Juniper topiary turned brown Pls Help!?

 I topiary tree in my yard, they are the kind pom pom free one turned brown the other two are ok ... They all receive the same amount of bath water and the sun ideas on what went wrong?

 Without looking at it is to be sure but if it happened quickly enough it could be a disease or parasites (like mites). In both, for fear that I would take a sample to my favorite L & G Center and have them take a look are giving someone a piece of his mind if you is a disease or parasite.

What is the best low-maintenance plant/tree to accent my front door?

 I have a small-scale patio at my front door, and I'd like to give prominence to this entrance with a planter on each side. I was wondering what typewrite of plant (or small tree) would look fine but also be able to survive all types of climates (hot, nippy, arid, etc.) The pots

 Your Juniper should've done well in the cache-pot.~but~
No matter what you put in the pots, you will have to divulge sure they don't get completely dried out.
Try choosing diminish varieties of pines or conifers.

Is the pot too stingy?
Do you have new sterile soil in the pot?
