A wine and eats pairing dinner will be held in Neosho on the night of Thursday, May 3, as part of the 10-day Herman Jaeger Fete organized by the Neosho Arts Council. The event will take place at 7 p.m. at Cafe Angelica, 107 E. Biggest St., on the south side of the Neosho Square.
There are five food courses on the menu, each paired with a aborigine Missouri wine sponsored by the Missouri Wine & Grape On. For the main course, attendees may have their choice of spring lamb with horseradish potatoes or chicken cordon bleu, complemented with a red Norton wine. Other courses file a salmon mousse ala Julie Child (with a sparkling wine), grow leek consomme (with a vidal blanc wine), risotto primavera (with a rose wine) and creole bread pudding with cognac disrespect (paired with a late harvest vignoles).
