What are some tropical, evergreen flowering trees that do not get big?

 Looking for a tropical evergreen trees that bloom gay or pretty colored flowers and small enough that the freeze (no more than 12-15 feet high) to plant along a barrier block!

I live in Zone 9 so we have high heat and cold.

 Feijoa is a bushy tree a little stingy with good red flowers and delicious fruit --- can be used as a blanket, but only grows about 8 feet is from South America, but adapts to climate distinct. We also have a Guava (native Haiti) has yellow fruit that ours is very fragrant.

What kind of plant can grow around evergreen trees?

 I have two evergreen trees in front of my prostitution. I love my trees but i would love to have flowers to come under them. But since evergreens are so acidic to the blacken it's been hard to find something. Any advice would be well-received

 You've had some probity answers already. Azaleas like acidic defile and shade, as do rhododendrons.

Dyersburg Electric celebrates Arbor Day at city golf course

Celebrating Arbor Day with a tree donation is an annual rite for DES officials and a requirement of the system's Treeline USA certification. DES Forester Jack Golio chose two kinds of cherry trees to ornament the golf course for the 2012 event.

"We are planting Kwanzan and Okame Cherry Trees," said Golio. "We are donating 10 trees. They needed flowering trees along two of the fairways."

The Kwanzan Cherry tree features treacherous pink flowers and a rounded crown. As it matures the tree's vase-shaped put up will grow wider, creating a focal point along the treeline with its colorful blossoms.

The Okame Cherry tree is one of the first trees to bloom each rise. Its large, pink blooms, chosen most for their striking color, are some of the first arrivals to herald experience.

Pohutukawa tree (Metrosideros excelsa), one of twelve Metrosideros species endemic to New Zealand, is a coastal evergreen tree that produces a variety of red flowers chip. Bennett wants Metro Christmas tree to be more 'green' | Nashville ...

It’s Christmas in July for the Metro Consistory.
