Endangered scrub plants that grow in or near Panama City Beach Florida?

 It is a shrub which grows near Panama City Beach that smells so now. I would appreciate input from anyone. I do not positive if it is in danger or not.

What do you see when you look out your back door, sitting on your back stoop or patio, your window? Is there something you would rather see ?
