This was my first bonsai, and I had reservations. I had a bad wisdom with a full-sized ficus years ago, and was very active about tough one again.

The tree arrived in a sound amount of while (two to three days after ordering). It appeared to have been shoved in the box, and was a scrap gift from the sophistication. However, the branches and leaves seemed to be green and robust.

The pot was the nefarious flexible nursery pot rather than a more decorative pot. To let slip matters worse, the pot was cracked from top to bottom. I in the end transplanted it to a clay pot in my inexperience about its watering needs.
