 I have a plant that is about 6 inches tall, and I neediness to re-pot it in a very large pot - about 3 feet in diameter. Is this bad for the plant?

 Depends on the plant - some plants like azaleas and other alike resemble plants love to have their forage systems confined - X with someone who can tell you if you are doing the advantageously thing or reseach on under consideration for to see if you can find out as you did not state what sort of plant it is
