Can I "thicken" the trunk of my Fiddle Leaf Fig plant?

 My fiddle fig leaf plant has been growing slowly inside for about 5 years now. I would like to move it outside to step on the gas growth, but there is a problem.

 Bonsai is a group of the size and shaping makes for a plant. If you want a positive way, you can prune. They will put out new leaves in place, but unfortunately, the size of the foot-locker will not increase. To prevent falling, to define it.

My indoor fiddle leaf fig plant gets holes on its leaves. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

I have examined the leaves, and I don't see any bugs on them. I also have another plant in the same dwell that has started doing the same id. My friend, who has a BS in landscape architecture says that it might be a fungus. I don't hunger to start treating it for things

 Are the leaves tacky? It might have scale (tiny, brown insects). They like to dissolve the leaves of this plant. More info here about the insects and how to get rid of them: http://criterion-to-houseplants.com/scale-in sects.html
