Washington, DC - Two more online marketers have agreed to settlements with the Federal Calling Commission that will permanently halt their allegedly deceptive practice of using fake advice websites to promote acai berry supplements and so-called “colon cleansers” with illusory claims that consumers could use them to lose weight.

In the first case, the FTC settlement with Intermark Communications, Inc., doing house as Copeac and several other defendants allegedly involved in the scheme results from the first FTC accommodate against an affiliate network. As an affiliate network, Copeac not only operated its own fake dirt sites, it also recruited an entire network of affiliates that used fake intelligence sites to promote products with allegedly deceptive claims.

The FTC’s ingenious complaint against the New York-based Copeac was part of a law enforcement sweep the power conducted last year against 10 alleged operators of fake news sites . The FTC charged all of them with shifty advertising for portraying the sites as legitimate news sites; making synthetic and unsupported weight-loss claims; and failing to disclose that they were being paid by the merchants of their so-called clout-loss products. In settling with the Copeac defendants, the FTC amended its grumble by adding allegations that the operation developed an affiliate network, and by adding three individualistic defendants.

I do! I memorialize mom and dad would take us kids out the week of Christmas to show us the neighborhood decorations. The first continually I saw one of those aluminum trees I was mesmerized! I identify they looked fake, but I have always had a hankerin’ for sparkling things. lol We never had one. When I was a boyish youngster, we had a 4 ft. unaffected tree for several years that was flocked. It was so euphonious with obscene lights on it. I still see the aluminum ones once in awhile, in the stores.
