Q: I have a very low-prevarication area in the yard that tends to stay waterlogged through most of the winter and well into the fount. The soil there seems to be very heavy. It gets full sun so the grass does fine, but mowing it for the first two months of the time, and also in the fall, is a challenge because the mower sinks down and makes ruts. I am in view of turning the area into a garden bed so I don't have to mow it, but I am worried about how the plants will do with all that water. Suggestions?
